Visual J# Express Programming Tutorials

In the early-1980's, there were many home and hobbyist programmers who enjoyed writing computer programs they could use at home. Microsoft has introduced a new product line aimed at the new generation of home programmers - the Express line. Visual J# Express is part of that new product line. And the best part of this new product line is the cost - free!! (Where Do I Get Visual J# Express?).

Visual J# is an implementation of the Java language that is an ideal tool for anyone with prior Java experience or students using Java and is compatible with most existing curricula teaching computer science using Java (including AP Computer Science).  Be aware that applications services built with Visual J# Express will run only in the .NET Framework; they will not run on any Java virtual machine.

Our tutorial Visual J# Express for Kids is aimed at first time, kid programmers (Ages 10 and up). If you are a beginning adult programmer, then Beginning Visual J# Express is for you.
