Where Do I Get Visual C#? To complete any of our Visual C# tutorials, you need to have a copy of Visual C# installed on your computer. This is a separate product that must be purchased. The current version of Visual C# 2008 (or the older Visual C# 2005 can be used) can be purchased at many on-line stores. We'd suggest Amazon.Com:
You can use either the stand-alone Visual C# 2008 product (the cheaper alternative) or the Visual C# 2008 that is part of the Visual Studio 2008 suite. We recommend Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition for 'serious' programmers. Although more costly, it has no limitations. If you are a college student, you can usually purchase academic copies of Visual C# 2008 and Visual Studio 2008 for a very low price. Check with your bookstore. |
