VISUAL C# .NET FOR KIDS
Product No. 255

To help beginning kid programmers understand how to use Visual C# .NET to build Windows applications, we have developed VISUAL C# .NET FOR KIDS (Table of Contents). This is an introduction to computer programming that provides an interactive, self-paced tutorial to the Visual C# .NET 2003 programming environment.

VISUAL C# .NET FOR KIDS is a tutorial consisting of 10 chapters explaining (in simple, easy-to-follow terms) how to build a Visual C# .NET Windows application. Students learn about project design, the Visual C# .NET toolbox, and many elements of the C# language. Numerous examples are used to demonstrate every step in the building process. The tutorial also includes several detailed computer projects for students to build and try.  These projects include a number guessing game, a card game, an allowance calculator, a drawing program, a state capitals game, Tic-Tac-Toe and even a simple video game (Project Screen Shots).  VISUAL C# .NET FOR KIDS is presented using a combination of over 400 pages of notes and actual Visual C# .NET 2003 examples. This material should be understandable to kids aged 10 and up. No programming experience is necessary, but familiarity with doing common tasks using Windows is expected.
