Visual C# Programming Tutorials

The latest version of the Visual C# programming language is Visual C# 2008.  It is an upgrade to Visual C# 2005, which was a revamping of the highly-touted Visual C# .NET introduced in 2001.  Visual C# 2005 and Visual C# 2008 have a completely new development environment, improved support for database applications, web applications and handheld devices.  Our tutorials will work with any edition of Visual C# 2005 or Visual C# 2008 (Standard, Professional, Enterprise - Where Do I Get Visual C#?).

We offer two Visual C# tutorials.  Learn Visual C# is an overview of building Windows applications and assumes you have some programming knowledge (with Visual C# or some other language).   Our other tutorial, VISUAL C# AND DATABASES addresses database applications.  We do not offer beginning tutorials for Visual C#, but don't despair.  Microsoft offers a simplified version of Visual C#, called Visual C# Express, a product for which we do have beginning tutorials.  Any application built with Visual C# Express will run under Visual C#.  Our tutorial Visual C# Express for Kids is aimed at first time, kid programmers (Ages 10 and up). If you are a beginning adult programmer, then Beginning Visual C# Express is for you.  Two more advanced tutorials, KID GAMES WITH VISUAL C# EXPRESS and HOME PROJECTS WITH VISUAL C# EXPRESS, may also be of interest.   As always, each tutorial includes free, unlimited support. You ask a question - we answer it!
