BEGINNING VISUAL BASIC EXPRESS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Product No. 241

BEGINNING VISUAL BASIC EXPRESS  (Table of Contents) is a high school adaptation of our VISUAL BASIC EXPRESS FOR KIDS  - the primary difference between the two versions is that BEGINNING VISUAL BASIC EXPRESS has more high school projects   It is an introduction to computer programming that provides an interactive, self-paced tutorial to the Visual Basic Express programming language and environment. This product is written for the absolute beginner - no programming experience is required, but familiarity with Windows use is expected.

BEGINNING VISUAL BASIC EXPRESS is presented using a combination of over 400 pages of notes and actual Visual Basic Express examples. Ten "plain-English" lessons explain the Visual Basic Express toolbox, event methods, and many elements of the BASIC computer language. Examples are used to demonstrate every step in the application building process. The tutorial also includes several computer projects that illustrate practical applications of Visual Basic Express, including loan calculators, graphics programs, portfolio managers, checkbook balancers, and even a simple video game (Project Screen Shots)!

BEGINNING VISUAL BASIC EXPRESS requires a Microsoft Windows operating system, ability to view and print documents saved in Microsoft Word format, and Visual Basic 2010 ExpressWe have partnered with the Microsoft® DreamSpark® program to support and advance students learning and skills development, by providing high school students the latest developer and design software from Microsoft, at no additional cost.  Click here for more information on this annual DreamSpark subscription program.
